No — Google is blocked in China. Use these instead: Amap (高德地图, Gaode) for navigation — it's what locals use and it's excellent. Baidu Maps works too but is entirely in Chinese. Apple Maps actually works reasonably well in China since Apple uses local data. Download Amap before you arrive. For transit specifically, the Metro app for each city (Beijing Metro, Shanghai Metro) is very accurate.
